Country Crude Oil Imports Decline by 2% YoY in First 10 Months
In the first 10 months of the current financial year. Crude oil imports in the country Crude Oil have recorded a decrease of 2 percent on an annual basis. According to the statistics of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. The volume of crude oil imports in the period from July to April was recorded at 4.138 billion dollars. which is 2 percent less than the same period of the previous fiscal year.
Crude oil worth $277 million was imported in April. Which is 48 percent less than in April last year. Crude oil worth $534 million was imported in April last year. Crude oil imports recorded a 27% month-on-month decline in April as compared to March. Crude oil worth $377 million was imported in March. Which decreased to $277 million in April. It should be noted that in the first 10 months of the current financial year. An 18% decrease in the imports of petroleum products has been recorded on an annual basis.
