Chief Justice’s Salary 750% Higher Than Prime Minister’s in Pakistan
Pakistan’s Chief Justice Salary. The details of the monthly salaries paid to the members of the assembly including the president, prime minister, federal ministers, federal secretary, and salary of the Chief Justice of Pakistan have been presented in the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly.
The document revealed that the monthly salary of the Chief Justice of Pakistan is 15 lakh 27 thousand 399 rupees while the salary of the Prime Minister is 2 lakh 1 thousand 574 rupees. Thus, the monthly salary of the Chief Justice is 750% more than the salary of the Prime Minister.
Interestingly, the salary of the federal ministers is also more than the salary of the Prime Minister i.e. 3 lakh 38 thousand rupees.

The Public Accounts Committee members demanded that the record of allowances along with salaries should be submitted to know how much salaries and allowances the legislators have and what the salaries and allowances of those sitting above the law are.
The Chairman Public Accounts Committee has also sought the records of the privileges given to the Chief Justice, Prime Minister, Ministers, and officers of all other high institutions.
